Standing out with its many hi-tech solutions from "home to space" Mitsubishi Electric goes digital for the conference and university meetings which were paused during the pandemic. Besides the manager talks held at digital platforms, Mitsubishi Electric organized "Online Career Days" in collaboration between Izmir Institute of Technology and Mitsubishi Electric Turkey Klima Sistemleri Üretim A.Ş., Manisa city-based air-conditioner manufacturing company of Mitsubishi Electric. Students have showed a great interest in the events where substantial information exchange takes place from career development of managers up to the company activities. Mitsubishi Electric introduces its systems to students at 17 universities of Turkey and supports educational with the robots it provided to seven universities.

Carrying out important investments and activities in the digital transformation as an ambitious solution partner for the Turkish industrialists and infrastructure projects, Mitsubishi Electric continues communication with students via digital platforms during the period of pandemics. Students have showed a great interest in the talks where substantial information exchange takes place from career development of managers up to the company activities.

Digitalization in Manufacturing attracts great interest

Mr. Tolga Bizel, Senior Manager of Product Management and Business Development of Mitsubishi Electric Turkey Klima Sistemleri Üretim A.Ş. held an Instagram live streaming in the first months of the pandemic in cooperation with IEEE Students Club of Manisa Celal Bayar University. During the talk themed "Talks in Digitalized Work"; many important subjects were covered from career story of Mr. Bizel to operations of Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation Systems, from post-pandemic changes in the manufacturing to the digital transformation in the manufacturing.

International experiences at Mitsubishi Electric exchanged

Another name who met with university students was Mrs. Merve Sarıhan, PLC-Servo Team Leader of Mitsubishi Electric Turkey Factory Automation Systems who joined the Instagram live streaming with the Industrial Engineering Club of Black Sea Technical University on the occasion of June 23rd International Women in Engineering Day. Talking about her works and experiences at Japan factory of Mitsubishi Electric, Mrs. Sarıhan explained her goals for Mitsubishi Electric Turkey, giving advices to engineer candidates of the future.

Career Days Goes Digital

As part of the "Online Career Days", Mitsubishi Electric Turkey Klima Sistemleri Üretim A.Ş. which produces air-conditioners in Manisa, has come together with students of Electric-Electronic, Mechanical, Chemistry and Computer Engineering Department of Izmir Institute of Technology in collaboration with said Institute. About 100 students attended the human resources and manufacturing presentations held. During the event where online presentations held, information about company profile, recruitment and internship processes as well as manufacturing flow, technologies, methodologies, and software used in the manufacturing are provided to university students who are in the beginning of their career lives for supporting them to think about their business career. Online Career Days continued with online interviews and "Online Career Talk".

Continues educational contribution

Introducing its systems with students in 17 universities of Turkey and supporting education at seven universities with its robots, Mitsubishi Electric is carrying on works to increase said number. Mitsubishi Electric also continues its contributions in the education and human resources thanks to the activities bringing engineers together with students.
